Sara has been apart of the Abbington Alligators since she was four years old. She was a junior coach for 4 years and an assistant coach last summer. She can’t wait to come back this summer as a co-head coach! Sara is currently a freshman at East Carolina University where she is majoring in hospitality management. She loves hanging with her friends and family, going for drives and getting sweet treats, and listening to music in her free time. Sara is so excited to be back with all the amazing swimmers, work hard, improve their swimming, and make magical memories while having a fantastic season! Go Gators!

Sarah began swimming competitively at the age of 5 and spent 9 years with the Tac Titans until she was 18. She is currently finishing her sophomore year at East Carolina University, where she is an active member of the club swim team, continuing to compete while also taking on a leadership role by helping coach her teammates.

In addition to her competitive swimming background, she has 6 years of experience as a lifeguard and manager. She now serves as a Co-Head Swim Coach with the Abbington Gators. She is passionate about helping children become more comfortable and confident in the water, while also developing their skills and guiding them toward becoming successful swimmers

Carly joined the Abbington swim team when she was 12 years old, and enjoyed it so much that she went on to swim competitively for 7 years at RSA and TAC. She’s loved getting to be a junior coach for Abbington for the past five years, and is so excited to be back as an assistant coach this year!

Carly is finishing her freshman year studying nursing at the University of Alabama, where she is the vice president of the running club and works as a lifeguard. Some of her favorite things to do in her free time include working out, cooking, reading, and crafting.

She is so happy to be able to spend another summer with the Gators, and can’t wait to have an amazing season!

Delainey began swimming at age 6 for her summer swim team, and then joined year-round when she was 9. She swam for RSA and TAC, and she is just finishing her final season. She has been swimming for Abbington since she moved here when she was 12, and she has been a junior coach for four years. She is so excited to be an assistant coach this year!

Delainey is currently finishing her senior year at Apex Friendship High School, where she swam on the swim team for all four years, and was a captain for two years. After high school, she is going to Finland on a service mission trip for 18 months, and then will continue her studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She loves staying active with tennis and pickleball, baking, hanging out with friends and family, and day trips to the beach. Delainey is so grateful that her last summer swim season will be spent as an assistant coach, and she is so excited to help the Gators become stronger swimmers and have a memorable season!
